Recital
All students are expected to participate in our annual recital. This is an exciting and rewarding experience when students demonstrate their talents and abilities. It helps to develop confidence, self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment.  This year's Recital will be held at Blessed Trinity Theater.

Recital fees are due for each scheduled performing class. Included in recital fees are-

  • One costume per class

  • Full color class picture in program

  • Participation in rehearsal and recital

  • 4k UltraHD multi camera digital download of entire show

Recital fees will be billed to each account on October 1st and may be made in person or in your online portal until October 15th. Costumes will only be ordered for those students whose fees have been paid in full. Late fees will be charged after October 15th. Recital fees are refundable until November 10th. Alterations may be needed and are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Be Prepared
To feel like a dancer, one must dress like a dancer. Students must be properly dressed for classes in order to participate. Parents will be notified if students are not appropriately dressed.

Bathroom Policy
Pre-school and Kindergarten parents - Please take your child to the restroom before class to avoid accidents and disruption of the class.

Attendance
Students are expected to be present and on time for all classes. It is very important that all dancers and acrobats get the appropriate warm-up needed to avoid injury. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late to a class may be asked to sit out to avoid risk of injury. Please notify the school if a student will be absent.

"Perfect Attendance" awards will be awarded to those students who have no absences for the year in at least one class, beginning 10/1. NO EXCEPTIONS! You must be registered and enrolled in class prior to October 1st to be eligible. Please do not mistake this as a punishment for those students who unfortunately lose perfect attendance. It is a huge achievement for those who happen to get through the whole year and we will not compromise the integrity of that honor. Please do not put us in the position to make an exception.

Perfect Attendance recipients will receive a personalized trophy and a special on stage performance at the end of the season recital. Recipients names will also be printed in the souvenir program handed out at the show.

Birthday Parties
A two hour party. The first hour consists of a class of your choice (ballet, acro, hip hop, etc.). The second hour can be used as you wish (cake, food, games, presents, crafts). We provide the class, the space, and the clean-up. You can decorate however you like.

  • $175 for up to 10 students.

  • $10 each additional student.

  • $75 non-refundable deposit due upon booking.

Studio Etiquette

  • All students and parents are expected to be respectful at all times to the instructors, other students and parents. Profanity, negative attitudes, and gossiping should not be brought into the studio.
  • Students, parents and siblings are asked to clean up after themselves and respect all studio property.
  • While classes are in session, please do not open the dance room door. It is very distracting to the dancers and teachers.
  • The lobby is not a play area. Siblings of students in class are expected to sit quietly and must remain supervised.
  • There is absolutely no running, shouting, or eating in the studios or lobby.  There is a student lounge in the back of the studio where students may enjoy a snack or do homework.  Anyone causing a distraction could be asked to leave.
  • Dancers may not enter a classroom without an instructor present.
  • Do not bring gum or candy into the studio. Water bottles and healthy snacks are permitted.  The studio provides water fountains.
  • There are no phones, smart watches, or jewelry permitted in dance studios. They must be silenced and left in lockers or cubbies. Core is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Level & Placement

Students will be placed by the Core Elements Creative Team (directors, choreographers, instructors & staff), in the appropriate group for each student’s skill set.   Placement is done according to age and ability and will reflect previous years’ performance and class attendance. Placement decisions are derived from many years of teaching experience, and are not an opportunity for negotiation.

Often a child is placed in a group or class where he or she will feel confident, in order to promote the development of self-esteem.  A dancer who is placed in a group above their current level of ability risks losing their passion for dance.  There are rare occurrences where a dancer responds to the challenge of being in a class with dancers who are more proficient by pushing themselves to work harder.  Placement is highly individual and the factors that go into the decision are complex.  We see your students in this atmosphere and strive to place each one appropriately so that they receive the proper training to suit their learning personalities.

Class Observation
Parents, siblings, and observers are not permitted in the classroom at any time. We need your dancer’s full attention. The studio is equipped with a closed circuit television network. You will be able to view your child’s class on one of our flat screen televisions.

Pick-up & Drop-off
Please drop-off and pick-up your child within 15 minutes of class time, as we are very busy and cannot provide your child with the attention they deserve to be safe. Late (more than 15 min.) pick-ups will be charged a fee.

Please park and come in to the studio to pick up your child.  For their safety, we require every child wait inside until their parent/guardian comes in to pick them up. We cannot supervise them if they are waiting outside the studio.

Studio Closings
We will follow Forsyth & Fulton County’s decision on school closings. There are NO refunds or make up classes when the studio must close. Please check the studio's website and social media pages to confirm closings.
