Grace Kennett

     Grace Kennett brings a rich background in dance education and performance to Core Dance and Acrobatics Studios. A dedicated and passionate dancer since the age of three, Grace has spent over a decade training in a wide range of styles including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Flexibility/Conditioning, Musical Theater, and more.

Grace trained at Core Dance and Acrobatics Studios from 2019 to 2025, where she was a member of their Elite Competition Team and worked closely with the Core Elements Competition Team as both a choreographer and instructor. She also served as a teacher for weekly classes in Acrobatics, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap, and has provided countless private lessons in technique, conditioning, and competition prep.

Her performance resume includes three seasons with RISK Contemporary Dance Company under the direction of Brady Michael, where she performed in the company’s acclaimed show Five More Minutes. She also trained during the summers of 2023, 2024 and 2025 with the Admix Project, directed by Rachel Truitt, and participated in the company’s Surface and KAIROS productions, as well as the student choreography initiative.

Grace began her training at 5678 Dance Academy from 2011 to 2019, where she was a member of the Advanced Competition Team. Her early training laid the foundation for her versatility across styles, which now fuels both her teaching and choreography.

Grace’s work has earned her multiple scholarships and accolades, including:
– ASH True Artist Award (2022–2023)
– ASH theCompany on Tour (2022–2023)
– Adrenaline Convention Scholarship Recipient (2022–2023)
– KAR Hollywood Dance Experience Scholarship (2022–2023)
– KAR NYC All-Star Dance Experience Scholarship (2023–2024)
– DTI Convention Scholarship (2017)
She is also a multiple-time Industry Dance Award nominee.

As both a dancer and educator, Grace is committed to inspiring the next generation of artists with strong technique, creativity, and a love for the art of dance. She is excited to continue sharing her passion in a professional setting and shaping confident, expressive dancers at Core Dance & Acrobatics Studios.
