West Forsyth High School Theater
All performance classes at Core Dance & Acrobatics Studios—Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary—are invited to participate in our annual Holiday Spectacular and Nutcracker production. (Acrobatics classes do not participate.) Participation is completely optional.
There is a $35 costume cleaning/rental fee for those who choose to perform, along with the purchase of show tickets.
Rehearsals will take place during regular class times throughout November leading up to the show. The only additional commitment will be a dress rehearsal and two performances on Saturday and Sunday, December 14–15, all held at East Forsyth High School.
Dancers who choose not to participate in the show will still be fully included in class activities—no one will be left out.

What is The Core Ballet Company?
The Core Ballet Company performs solo roles in our production of the Nutcracker each year at our Winter show. There is no previous experience required to perform in the Nutcracker.
How Do I Join?
Auditions are held in August each season and students are placed based on age and skill level. Dancers must be enrolled as a student at Core Dance & Acrobatics Studios and attend required bi weekly weekend rehearsals.
