Alexis began dancing at the age of 6 in her hometown of Henderson, KY. There she trained in Jazz, Pom, Hip-Hop, and Tumbling. She competed at a National level in high school at NDA High School Nationals where her team won a national title in the Pom division. Within her high school years, Alexis also danced in the Disney Christmas Day Parade. She then went on to study Psychology and Special Education at Eastern Kentucky University, where she danced for 4 years in which she was co-captain for 2 years and captain for 1 year. She competed at UDA and NDA College Nationals during her time at EKU as well. After undergrad school, Alexis went on to receive her Masters of Science degree in Behavior Analysis at Simmons College, and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA.) Alexis then moved to Atlanta where she is currently working as a BCBA, and dancing for the Atlanta Hawks.

 

Within the last 3 years with the Atlanta Hawks, she has traveled and danced across the world including Taiwan, Mexico, and various states within the U.S. She has also danced with artists Ciara, NKOTB, and Silk as a member of the Atlanta Hawks Dancers!
