Eileen Himel

Eileen began dancing at the age of three in her hometown in Louisiana. From age eight until she was a senior in high school, Eileen was part of national award winning competition studios from which she had the opportunity to dance in amazing places, some including Disney World Magic Kingdom, on Carnival Cruise lines, Nashville, and Myrtle Beach. As a teenager, Eileen worked as a class demonstrator and student teacher at her local studios. While attending college in Louisiana, Eileen still made time for dance by taking class during the week, and choreographing hip-hop routines for University events. After earning her Bachelor's degree, Eileen moved to Georgia in route to earning her Master's degree in Psychology. Still she kept dance a priority, and was a member of Breaking Walls Dance Company in Warner Robins, taught class, private lessons, and choreographed routines for studio and high school dance competition students. Eileen has experience teaching contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and gymnastics. She is currently a member of Xtensity Dance Company in Atlanta, and continues her dance education by taking class weekly, and attending conventions.
