Cameron Ogden was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA where she has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theater, and Lyrical styles since the age of 4. Cameron is a graduate of The University of Alabama where she earned a B.A. in Dance on a scholarship and a B.S. in Marketing. During her time at the University, she trained under world renown choreographers and educators including Cornelius Carter, Lawrence Jackson, Jamorris Rivers, Stacy Alley, Guo Qianping, Amy Giordano, Norwegian Creative Studios, and many more.
Cameron has over 5 years of professional training and performance experience. She has danced nation-wide in competitions from a young age and has showcased her abilities in Alabama Dance productions where she was featured in work by the Theater and Dance Faculty as well as guest artists including but not limited to Kavin Grant, Sarah Barry, and Blair Andersen. She also performed in New York City with Broadway Dance Center after spending a summer training in the professional summer intensive under Bonnie Erickson, Jim Cooney, Lane Napper, Nijawwon Matthews, Sheila Barker, Tom Richardson, Justin Boccitto, Emily Greenwell and Dawn Hillen.
Cameron has showcased her very own choreographic pieces in several Alabama Dance productions and has participated in dance film festivals. In her free time, Cameron loves to advance her training and enhance her connections by participating in various intensives and workshops in and around the Atlanta area.
Cameron’s passion lies in educating the youth. She has experience training and adjudicating students ranging from ages 3 to 18. Cameron focuses on technique, performance, high-energy environment, relationship building, and strategic growth for her students. Cameron is eager to share her admiration for dance while inspiring those around her in new and creative ways in order to help cultivate dreams. She is honored to be a part of the CORE family!
